Police Dog Hogan & Sophia Radisch

Police Dog Hogan are unique - a high-energy and eclectic seven-piece, combining fiddle, banjo, mandolin, drums and guitars with knockout four-part harmonies in an exuberant fusing of country, pop, folk, and rocking urban bluegrass. The Sunday Times has described them as “wonderful”; the Telegraph named them one of its ‘favourite new bands”; BBC Radio 2 called them “a band to watch” and veteran DJ Johnnie Walker praises their gigs as “just a really good, fun time”. Currently touring the UK, Police Dog Hogan’s music is derived from tales of doomed barbecues, French mustard and falling in love on a Tennessee highway. Featuring Guardian columnist and author Tim Dowling on Banjo.
Supporting Police Dog Hogan on the night is 16 year old Canadian singer/songwriter, Sophia Radisch. Sophia released her debut album ‘INTOXICATED’ in September 2014. Her album includes Guest Guitarist, Glen Drover, formerly of Megadeth.Declared Wire Awards 2013 Rising Star, Sophia is an unbelievably accomplished artist at such a young age. Sophia’s original music compositions have been used in several films as part of film scores, including the feature film ‘Thirteen Downs’ in which she was cast as lead. Having had her originals requested for film, TV and television advertisements, Sophia’s music continues to be played across radio in a whole host of countries including Canada, the USA, and the UK.
