Mark Steele's Back in Town

Mark Steel is a formidable figure both in stand-up comedy and radio and television broadcasting and commentary, who we are extremely excited to be bringing to Narberth for the first time.

Mark Steel’s current regular BBC Radio 4 program is Mark Steel’s in Town, which has won a Sony Award and a Writer’s Guild Award. He visits towns and cities across the UK, winding an entertaining path through their inner lives and histories – he recently recorded a show from St Davids Cathedral.

With over 30 years of stand-up behind him, as well as BBC TV and radio series, televised lectures and panel show appearances (Question Time; Have I Got News For You; Never Mind the Buzzcocks; Room 101), as well as a number of books, his influence on contemporary culture has been remarkable.
Doors open 7pm. See span-arts.org.uk for more details.
