Support:Lafant
Mae tyfu fyny ar ymyl daearyddol pethau wedi rhoi brys unigryw i sain Lafant. Mae'r triawd o lannau Môr Iwerddon yng ngogledd Sir Benfro yn cymryd ysbydoliaeth o fandiau British Invasion y 60au a Surf Rock Americanaidd, ond hefyd o swagger Britpop ac ing Grunge. Mae eu rhyngchwarae tynn yn sail i straeon am gariad a chwant, am ffolineb ieuenctid, cenfigen a llawenydd, wedi'u canu â didwylledd sy'n nodweddiadol o'r sawl a fagwyd ym mhen draw nunlle.
Growing up on the geographical and cultural edge of things has given Lafant's sound a unique urgency. The three-piece from the shores of the Irish Sea in north Pembrokeshire take inspiration from the 60s' British Invasion bands and American Surf Rock but also from the swagger of Britpop and the ankst of grunge. Their tight interplay underpins stories of love and lust, of youthful follies, jealousy and joy, sung with a sincerity gifted to those raised in the middle of nowhere.
Age Range 11+ (an appropriate adult is welcome to stay for the session)
