Championed by the likes of Jo Whiley, Whispering Bob Harris, Huw Stephens and having played with bands and artists like Jack Savoretti and Band Of Horses, Dan Bettridge has been making his mark in the past few years.

A son of rural Wales, growing up in the seaside town of Ogmore-by-Sea, Dan Bettridge is a singer-songwriter whose output defies rigid classification. While a traditional singer-songwriter at heart, echoing influences from Americana, Soul, Rock and Folk, Bettridge weaves his alternative spirit into everything he does resulting in a wide-ranging sonic palette larger than the sum of its parts.

The result is a compelling smorgasbord of styles, “blending a discography of radio- ready anthems, dreamy indie stunners and classic rock bangers” (TheMusicMermaid.com).
With equal measurements of deeply intimate poetry and narrative-based lyric writing, Dan’s music delves deep into themes of love, politics, freedom and topics that surround the complexity of the human condition.

Having amassed press attention from media publications that include the likes of ClashMusic, AtwoodMagazine, WithGuitars.com, Gigslutz.co.uk and named Acoustic Magazine’s “Next Big Thing” among many more, Dan is quickly gaining momentum as an artist to look out for in 2021 and beyond. His music has made its way to 2000+ personal playlists, high-profile charts and editorial playlists across all major streaming platforms, racking up over a million streams in total.

Notably, his debut album was featured on iTunes Canada’s homepage for its week of release, and immediately found its way to countless personal and editorial playlists, including notable features across the BBC network.

Additionally, he was awarded the prestigious PRS Momentum Music Fund in 2019, which will fund his latest work.

He is currently sitting on an impressive discography that spans 7 years, comprising of 2 EPs, 1 double-length album comprising of 16 songs and a slew of mesmerising singles and covers. Notably, his LP was released in Waves of four songs at a time before releasing as a full LP. His steady release schedule continues into 2021, with his forthcoming EP, ‘Good People. Bad Habits.’, being released throughout early 2021
