Comedy Club: Scott Bennett, Josh Pugh and MC Will Duggan

Comedy Club returns on the 9th of November 2017 to The Queens Hall, Narberth with one of the fastest rising stand-up comedians; Scott Bennett, English Comedian of the Year (2016); Josh Pugh and MC Will Duggan; awarded for being the best MC at the Nottingham Comedy Festival.

November’s headliner is the likeable yet hilarious Scott Bennett. After starting comedy in 2009, Scott has quickly established himself on the UK comedy circuit. With an engaging delivery, he is a Yorkshire live wire with an undeniable no nonsense logic. In demand by many big clubs, Scott delivers wry observations on the absurdity of modern living. His debut stand up show was nominated for the highly acclaimed Amused Moose Comedy Award and was selected as one of the top ten shows at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2015 as well as being featured in the famous "Pick of the Fringe Showcase". Scott has supported the likes of Michael McIntyre, Rob Brydon and many more.

“Clearly has a big future, flashes of Peter Kay, Jason Mannford, and John Bishop” –Amused Moose Review, 2015

Joining Bennet is the English Comedian of the year (2016); Josh Pugh. Since 2014, Josh has gained a proven track record of being a winner. He won an array of awards including 'that Funhouse gong' show and has since gone on to win Birmingham Comedy Festival Breaking Talent Award 2015, the Nottingham Comedy Festival New Act of the Year Award 2015 and The Midland New Act of the Year in both 2014 and 2015. Recently, he came 3rd in the NATYS before going on to win English Comedian of the Year 2016.

“Offbeat ideas, strong imagery and dry observational asides, he finds laughs in unusual places- Chortle

Compere for the evening is Will Duggan; awarded for being the best MC at the Nottingham Comedy Festival, Duggan has been performing comedy since 2009 and has since cemented himself as a dynamic and interesting performer in comedy clubs around the country. He mixes stories and gags with a cheerfully cynical view of the world.
