The Queens Hall welcomes Genesis Legacy to Narberth on the 2nd of November 2018 for a night of feel-good entertainment that showcases the incredible songwriting talents of some musical heroes.
"Genesis Legacy" is an outstanding touring show celebrating the musical careers of Phil Collins, Mike Rutherford's Mike and the Mechanics, Pete Gabriel, Steve Hackett and the band that brought them all together - Genesis!
Genesis Legacy brings the biggest songs from those 5 connected super-acts into an explosive show performed by super-fans of these artists with an attention to detail and affection for the music that's rarely found in a tributing show today.
The founding members of Genesis: Mike Rutherford, Tony Banks and Peter Gabriel formed the group in 1967 (along with Anthony Phillips and Chris Stewart), were joined by Phil Collins in 1970 and then by Steve Hackett shortly afterwards.
Genesis Legacy focuses on the music of Phil Collins ( who went on to launch a stratospheric solo career in 1981 with the release of “Face Value” featuring “In the Air Tonight”); Mike Rutherford’s Mike and the Mechanics (who released their first Album in 1985 following Mike’s attempts as launching his own solo career); Peter Gabriel (who left Genesis in 1975 and launched his first, self-titled solo Album featuring “Solisbury Hill” in 1976); and Steve Hackett (who left the band in 1977 to launch his solo career).
