Sputnik Weazel @ BOCS 2027

Sputnik Weazel is a solo performer who has reimagined the ukulele as an instrument of wit, protest, storytelling and musical adventure. Rejecting the instrument’s stereotypical associations, Sputnik creates performances that are intelligent, unpredictable and emotionally resonant

Drawing from folk, rock, alternative music and spoken word traditions, his songs move effortlessly between biting satire, social observation, heartfelt reflection and surreal humour. Armed with little more than a ukulele and an unmistakable stage presence, Sputnik delivers performances that are intimate yet powerful, proving that one voice and four strings can command a room as effectively as a full band
