This event is brought to you by the 'Making Music Events: Young Promoters in Pembrokeshire' project, funded by Anthem Cymru and delivered by the Queens Hall Narberth. The project is designed to address geographical and rural isolation for young people in Wales, through the medium of live music. The Young Promoters Pembrokeshire have designed a programme of 5 exciting live music events at the Queens Hall Narberth, promoting contemporary young artists from Wales, so keep your eyes peeled for more gigs over the coming months.
Tomos Newman is a young folk singer-songwriter from Pembrokeshire, Wales. Recognised by many as “Folk’s new voice”, he is trailblazing his way through the scene.
His talent is gaining the attention of the prestigious Forte Project. Rising quickly through the folk scene amassing over 28,000 YouTube Subscribers from just two music videos, his heartfelt & honest sense of story telling has him marked as one to keep an eye on.
When he's not tending to the fields, Tomos is letting his emotions run bare through his beautifully crafted lyrics. His grounded sense of self and passionate yet blissful drive can be felt within each note. His rawest & most ambitious releases are set to come out throughout 2025 & see him working again with acclaimed producer Owain Fleetwood Jenkins at StudiOwz.
