Young Promoters Pembrokeshire Discovery Day 2026
After the huge success of their last project, Queens Hall is excited to announce the second round of YOUNG PROMOTERS PEMBROKESHIRE, funded by Anthem Cymru.
This is an amazing opportunity for young people aged 11-18 who are wondering how to get involved in the music industry and want to gain tangible skills such as programming, marketing and event management, alongside real experience of how live events come together. Through this hands-on project, participants will receive full support from the professional team to navigate the planning and delivery of up to 4 gigs featuring emerging and established original Welsh artists, both in English and Welsh.
No experience is required – if you are curious about music and events, we want to meet you!
Here’s what last year’s participants have to say:
My expectations of the project were that I could participate in making gigs along with the staff of Queens Hall. I didn't expect to find a community of people who appreciate me, I didn't expect to make some long-term friends from the project. But I did. The outcome of the project and what I've learnt was so much more than what I expected and I am forever grateful for the opportunities I have been given.
I think it was such an amazing project, and such a good idea!! It was educational, fun and just amazing overall. I’ve met some really cool people because of this project too!!.
Our 2 hour Discovery Session takes place at 2.30pm on 20th September 2026 at The Queens Hall, Narberth. This is a great chance for young people and their parents/carers to come along informally and get a bit more understanding of the programme and what it will require, as well as how the venue will support learning and delivery. If you or your child would like to get involved, get in touch with us at Contact Us to register your interest
